ਹੇਰੋਦਿਯਾਸ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਉਸ ਦਾਵਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਅਤੇ ਨੱਚੀ। ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਚ ਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ਮਾਣਿਆ। ਰਾਜਾ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਕੁੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵੀ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਮੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।”
