ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਇੱਕ ਧਰਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਪੁਰੱਖ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਹ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਬੜੇ ਅਨੰਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
