ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਸਲੀਬ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਕੁਰੇਨੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਸੀ ਸਿਕੰਦਰ ਅਤੇ ਰੁਫ਼ੂਸ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ। ਉਹ ਖੇਤਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਸਲੀਬ ਚੁੱਕੇ।
