ਮੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਚੇਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਵੇਖੋ! ਇਸ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਇਮਾਰਤਾਂ ਕਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਖੂਬਸੂਰਤ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਕਿੰਨੇ ਵੱਡੇ-ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਥਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਬਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ!”
