ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਸੁਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਾਂਤ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਵਸਰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਸਨ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ।
