ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ੰਕਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਘੁੰਮ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪ੍ਰਧਾਣ ਜਾਜਕ, ਨੇਮ ਦੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ।
