ਉਸ ਨੇ ਥੋੜੀ ਵਿਥ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਪੱਤਿਆਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਦਾ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤ ਵੇਖਿਆ। ਉਹ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤ ਦੇ ਕੋਲ ਗਿਆ, ਇਹ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਇਸ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਫ਼ਲ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਉਸਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਸਨ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਜੇ ਅੰਜੀਰ ਲੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਮੌਸਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
