ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਅੰਨ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਬੜੀ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਲਈ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਗੜ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਬਲੀ ਲਿਆਉਂਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਬੜੀ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਗੱਲ ਹੈ। ਕਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਜਾਨਵਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਾਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਕੇ ਵੇਖੋ, ਕੀ ਉਹ ਬੀਮਾਰ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੋਹਫਾ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਵੇਗਾ? ਨਹੀਂ! ਉਹ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਤੋਹਫ਼ੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ।” ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖੀਆਂ।

And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

And when ye offer the blind for sacrifice, it is no evil! and when ye offer the lame and sick, it is no evil! Present it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee? or will he accept thy person? saith Jehovah of hosts.

ye offer תַגִּשׁ֨וּן nāgaš na-ɡAHSH
the blind עִוֵּ֤ר ʿiwwēr ee-WARE
for sacrifice, לִזְבֹּ֙חַ֙ zābaḥ za-VAHK
not אֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
evil? רָ֔ע raʿ ra
and if וְכִ֥י kî kee
ye offer תַגִּ֛ישׁוּ nāgaš na-ɡAHSH
the lame פִּסֵּ֥חַ pissēaḥ pee-SAY-ak
and sick, וְחֹלֶ֖ה ḥālâ ha-LA
not אֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
evil? רָ֑ע raʿ ra
offer הַקְרִיבֵ֨הוּ qārab ka-RAHV
it now נָ֜א nāʾ na
unto thy governor; לְפֶחָתֶ֗ךָ peḥâ peh-HA
will he be pleased הֲיִרְצְךָ֙ rāṣâ ra-TSA
with thee, or א֚וֹ ʾô oh
accept הֲיִשָּׂ֣א nāśāʾ na-SA
thy person? פָנֶ֔יךָ pānîm pa-NEEM
saith אָמַ֖ר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
the Lord יְהוָ֥ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
of hosts. צְבָאֽוֹת׃ ṣābāʾ tsa-VA
