Luke 9:39
ਅਚਾਨਕ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਤ ਆਤਮਾ ਆਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਉਹ ਚਿਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਗੁਆ ਬੈਠਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਝੱਗ ਵਹਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ-ਆਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਰੇਸ਼ਾਨ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੀ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਦਾ।

ਤਾਂ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸ ਲੜਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਲਿਆਏ। ਜਦੋਂ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ-ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੰਬਣ ਲਈ ਮਜਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫ਼ਿਰ ਮੂੰਹੋ ਝੱਗ ਕੱਢਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਬੱਚਾ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਲੇਟ ਗਿਆ।

ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾ ਚੀਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਿਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਇਆ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੰਜੇ ਡੇਗ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਬੱਚਾ ਮਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਪਦਾ ਸੀ। ਬੜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।”

ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਕੇ ਤਾੜਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰ! ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਜਾ।” ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਠਾਹ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਪਟਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਭਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਆਤਮਾ ਬਿਨਾ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਟ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਏ ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲ ਗਿਆ।
John 8:44
ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਅੰਸ਼ ਹੋ ਤੇ ਸਿਰਫ ਉਹੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ। ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਹਤਿਆਰਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸੱਚ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ। ਜਦ ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣਾ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਵਰੂਪ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਹਾਂ! ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਝੂਠਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਝੂਠ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਖੁਦ ਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਰੱਖੋ ਅਤੇ ਸਚੇਤ ਰਹੋ। ਸ਼ੈਤਾਨ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ, ਇੱਕ ਸ਼ੇਰ ਵਾਂਗ ਗੱਜਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਚਾਰ ਚੁਫ਼ੇਰੇ ਘੁੰਮਦਾ ਫ਼ਿਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਟਿੱਡੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਤਲਹੀਣ ਖੱਡ ਦਾ ਦੂਤ ਸੀ। ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਬੱਦੋਨ ਹੈ। ਯੂਨਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਪੁਲੂਉਨ (ਵਿਨਾਸ਼ਕ) ਹੈ।
