ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਿਆ ਕਿ ਦਾਊਦ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਾਥੀ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਸਨ।
