Luke 23:8
ਜਦੋਂ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਬੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਇਆ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਾਰੇ ਬੜਾ ਕੁਝ ਸੁਣ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਸੀ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਉਸਦੀ ਬੜੇ ਚਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਹੇਰੋਦੇਸ ਨੇ ਆਸ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੰ ਇੱਕ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮਾ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੇਖ ਸੱਕੇਗਾ।

And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was of a long time desirous to see him, because he had heard concerning him; and he hoped to see some miracle done by him.
