ਅਰਿਮਥੇਆ ਦਾ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਉੱਥੇ ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਅਰਿਮਥੇਆ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ ਉਸਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਚੰਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਧਰਮੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਆਉਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਹਾਲਾਂ ਕਿ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਦਾ ਸਦੱਸ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਯਹੂਦੀ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਾਰੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਹਿਮਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਇਆ।
