Leviticus 24:12
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦੀ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਸਾਫ਼ ਹੋ ਜਾਣ ਦਾ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗੇ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
Numbers 36:5
ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਹ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੀ। “ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਠੀਕ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ!
Exodus 18:23
ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲਾਇੱਕ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਉਸੇ ਵੇਲੇ, ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਸੁਲਝੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਘਰ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ।”
