Leviticus 11:43
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰੀਂਗਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਘ੍ਰਿਣਾਯੋਗ ਨਾ ਬਣਾਉ। ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਨਾਪਾਕ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ।

| shall ye make yourselves unclean | תִֽטַּמְּאוּ֙ | tiṭṭammĕʾû | tee-ta-meh-OO |
| defiled be should ye that them, with | בָּהֶ֔ם | bāhem | ba-HEM |
| thereby. | וְנִטְמֵתֶ֖ם | wĕniṭmētem | veh-neet-may-TEM |
