ਤਾਂ ਗਿਦਾਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਜ਼ਬਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਸਲਮੁੰਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਮੈਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਚਮੜੀ ਮਾਰੂਥਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਕੰਢਿਆਲੀਆਂ ਝਾੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਧੇੜਾਂਗਾ।”

and Zalmunna	וְאֶת	wĕʾet	veh-ET
into mine hand,	צַלְמֻנָּ֖ע	ṣalmunnāʿ	tsahl-moo-NA
tear will I then	בְּיָדִ֑י	bĕyādî	beh-ya-DEE
	וְדַשְׁתִּי֙	wĕdaštiy	veh-dahsh-TEE
your flesh	אֶת	ʾet	et
with	בְּשַׂרְכֶ֔ם	bĕśarkem	beh-sahr-HEM
thorns the	אֶת	ʾet	et
of the wilderness	קוֹצֵ֥י	qôṣê	koh-TSAY
and with	הַמִּדְבָּ֖ר	hammidbār	ha-meed-BAHR
briers.	וְאֶת	wĕʾet	veh-ET
	הַֽבַּרְקֳנִֽים׃	habbarqŏnîm	HA-bahr-koh-NEEM
