ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਇੱਕ ਨਬੀ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਨਬੀ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, ‘ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮਿਸਰ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਜ਼ਾਦ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਇਆ।

from Egypt,	אֶתְכֶם֙	ʾetkem	et-HEM
forth you brought and	מִמִּצְרַ֔יִם	mimmiṣrayim	mee-meets-RA-yeem
	וָֽאֹצִ֥יא	wāʾōṣîʾ	va-oh-TSEE
out of the house	אֶתְכֶ֖ם	ʾetkem	et-HEM
of bondage;	מִבֵּ֥ית	mibbêt	mee-BATE
	עֲבָדִֽים׃	ʿăbādîm	uh-va-DEEM
