ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਅੱਗੇ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਪੁਕਾਰ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਬੰਦਾ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਥਨੀਏਲ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਕਨਜ਼, ਕਾਲੇਬ ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਭਰਾ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਅਥਨੀਏਲ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ।
