Judges 12:3
ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖ ਲਿਆ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸਾਡੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੋਂਗੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨੂੰ ਖਤਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਇਆ। ਮੈਂ ਨਦੀ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੰਮੋਨੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਗਿਆ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੀ ਮਦਦ ਕੀਤੀ। ਹੁਣ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਅੱਜ ਮੇਰੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ਼ ਲੜਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਉਂ ਆਏ ਹੋ?”

| the children | בְּנֵ֣י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| Ammon, of | עַמּ֔וֹן | ʿammôn | AH-mone |
| and the Lord | וַיִּתְּנֵ֥ם | wayyittĕnēm | va-yee-teh-NAME |
| delivered | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| hand: my into them | בְּיָדִ֑י | bĕyādî | beh-ya-DEE |
