ਇਸ ਲਈ ਰਊਬੇਨ, ਗਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੱਸ਼ਹ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੂਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਹੋਰਨਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ-ਸਮੁਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਕਨਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੀਲੋਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਗਿਲਆਦ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ। ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ-ਜਿਹੜੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
