John 20 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 And on the first of the sabbaths, Mary the Magdalene doth come early (there being yet darkness) to the tomb, and she seeth the stone having been taken away out of the tomb,ਕੁਝ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਖਾਲੀ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਵੇਲੇ, ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਕਬਰ ਕੋਲ ਗਈ, ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਜੇ ਹਨੇਰਾ ਹੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਪੱਥਰ ਨੇ ਕਬਰ ਢੱਕੀ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਹਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

2 she runneth, therefore, and cometh unto Simon Peter, and unto the other disciple whom Jesus was loving, and saith to them, `They took away the Lord out of the tomb, and we have not known where they laid him.'ਤਾਂ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੱਸਦੀ ਹੋਈ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਪਿਆਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਕੋਲ ਗਈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ?”

3 Peter, therefore, went forth, and the other disciple, and they were coming to the tomb,ਤਾਂ ਪਤਰਸ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਨੇ ਕਬਰ ਵੱਲ ਜਾਣਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ।

4 and the two were running together, and the other disciple did run forward more quickly than Peter, and came first to the tomb,ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭੱਜ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਚੇਲਾ ਪਤਰਸ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਤੇਜ ਭੱਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਬਰ ਕੋਲ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਹਿਆ।

5 and having stooped down, seeth the linen clothes lying, yet, indeed, he entered not.ਇਸਨੇ ਥੱਲੇ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਮਲਮਲ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਪਏ ਹੋਏ ਵੇਖੇ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਾ ਗਿਆ।

6 Simon Peter, therefore, cometh, following him, and he entered into the tomb, and beholdeth the linen clothes lying,ਤਦ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮਗਰ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੜ ਗਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਵੀ ਉੱਥੇ ਮਲਮਲ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਏ ਵੇਖੇ।

7 and the napkin that was upon his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but apart, having been folded up, in one place;ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਲਪੇਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਤਹਿ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮਲਮਲ ਦੇ ਕੱਪੜਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਹਟ ਕੇ ਇੱਕ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

8 then, therefore, entered also the other disciple who came first unto the tomb, and he saw, and did believe;ਫਿਰ ਦੂਜਾ ਚੇਲਾ ਵੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਿਆ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਕਬਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੁੰਹਚਿਆ ਸੀ। ਜਦ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਸਭ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਹੋਈ।

9 for not yet did they know the Writing, that it behoveth him out of the dead to rise again.(ਉਹ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਇਹ ਨਾ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਰਦਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣਾ ਹੈ।)

10 The disciples therefore went away again unto their own friends,ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਚੇਲੇ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਪਸ ਮੁੜੇ। ਮਰਿਯਮ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹੀ ਰੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।

11 and Mary was standing near the tomb, weeping without; as she was weeping, then, she stooped down to the tomb, and beholdeth two messengers in white, sitting,ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਰੋ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਰੋਂਦੀ-ਰੋਂਦੀ ਨੇ ਝੁਕ ਕੇ ਕਬਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਵੇਖਿਆ।

12 one at the head, and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had been laid.ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੇ ਦੂਤ ਸਫ਼ੇਦ ਪੋਸ਼ਾਕ ਪਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਵੇਖੇ, ਉਹ ਉੱਥੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ। ਇੱਕ ਦੂਤ ਯਿਸੂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਦੂਤ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਬੈਠਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ।

13 And they say to her, `Woman, why dost thou weep?' she saith to them, `Because they took away my Lord, and I have not known where they laid him;'ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਔਰਤ, ਤੂੰ ਰੋ ਕਿਉਂ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ?” ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦਾ ਸਰੀਰ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੀ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ।”

14 and these things having said, she turned backward, and seeth Jesus standing, and she had not known that it is Jesus.ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਸੇ-ਪਾਸੇ ਮੁੜੀ, ਤਾਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਖੜ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ ਜਾਣਦੀ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ।

15 Jesus saith to her, `Woman, why dost thou weep? whom dost thou seek;' she, supposing that he is the gardener, saith to him, `Sir, if thou didst carry him away, tell me where thou didst lay him, and I will take him away;'ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹੇ ਔਰਤ, ਤੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਰੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ? ਅਤੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੱਭ ਰਹੀ ਹੈਂ?” ਮਰਿਯਮ ਨੇ ਸੋਚਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਇਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਇਸ ਬਾਗ ਦਾ ਮਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਨਾਬ, ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਹੋ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਜਾ ਸੱਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਲਵਾਂ।”

16 Jesus saith to her, `Mary!' having turned, she saith to him, `Rabbouni;' that is to say, `Teacher.'ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮਰਿਯਮ।” ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮੁੜੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇਬਰਾਨੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲੀ, “ਰੱਬੋਨੀ” ਭਾਵ “ਗੁਰੂ।”

17 Jesus saith to her, `Be not touching me, for I have not yet ascended unto my Father; and be going on to my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father, and to my God, and to your God.'ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਛੂਹ! ਅਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸ: ‘ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਪਣੇ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ।’”

18 Mary the Magdalene cometh, telling to the disciples that she hath seen the Lord, and `that' these things he said to her.ਮਰਿਯਮ ਮਗਦਲੀਨੀ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਕੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ।” ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਦੱਸੀਆਂ ਜੋ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

19 It being, therefore, evening, on that day, the first of the sabbaths, and the doors having been shut where the disciples were assembled, through fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith to them, `Peace to you;'ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਉਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਮ, ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ, ਸਾਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਇੱਕਸਾਥ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਦਰਵਾਜੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਲਏ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਸਨ। ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਣ ਲੱਗਾ, “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇ।”

20 and this having said, he shewed them his hands and side; the disciples, therefore, rejoiced, having seen the Lord.ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਖੀ ਵਿਖਾਈ। ਚੇਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਬੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਏ।

21 Jesus, therefore, said to them again, `Peace to you; according as the Father hath sent me, I also send you;'ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਮੁੜ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਮਿਲੇ! ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਭੇਜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘੱਲਿਆ ਹੈ।”

22 and this having said, he breathed on `them', and saith to them, `Receive the Holy Spirit;ਮਗਰੋਂ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਿਆ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਫ਼ੂਕ ਮਾਰੀ। ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੋ।

23 if of any ye may loose the sins, they are loosed to them; if of any ye may retain, they have been retained.'ਜਦੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕਰੋ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਮਾਫ਼ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਤੇ ਜੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਬਖਸ਼ੋਂਗੇ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਗੇ।”

24 And Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came;ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਥੋਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਥੋਮਾਂ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਦੁਮਸ ਵੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਸਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ। ਥੋਮਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸੀ।

25 the other disciples, therefore, said to him, `We have seen the Lord;' and he said to them, `If I may not see in his hands the mark of the nails, and may put my finger to the mark of the nails, and may put my hand to his side, I will not believe.'ਦੂਜੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਥੋਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ।” ਥੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਉਦੋਂ ਤੱਕ ਯਕੀਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਦ ਤੱਕ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਤੇ ਛੇਦ ਨਾ ਵੇਖਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਕੇ ਨਾ ਵੇਖ ਲਵਾਂ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੇਖਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਉਸਦੀ ਵੱਖੀ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਰੱਖ ਲਵਾਂ।”

26 And after eight days, again were his disciples within, and Thomas with them; Jesus cometh, the doors having been shut, and he stood in the midst, and said, `Peace to you!'ਇੱਕ ਹਫ਼ਤੇ ਬਾਦ ਚੇਲੇ ਉਸੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਿਰ ਇੱਕਤਰ ਹੋਏ। ਥੋਮਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਬੰਦ ਸਨ ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਆਣ ਕੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਵੇ।”

27 then he saith to Thomas, `Bring thy finger hither, and see my hands, and bring thy hand, and put `it' to my side, and become not unbelieving, but believing.'ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਥੋਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਆਪਣੀ ਉਂਗਲ ਇੱਥੇ ਰੱਖ, ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵੱਲ ਵੇਖ। ਆਪਣਾ ਹੱਥ ਮੇਰੀ ਵੱਖੀ ਤੇ ਰੱਖ। ਸ਼ੱਕ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਗੋਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ।”

28 And Thomas answered and said to him, `My Lord and my God;'ਥੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ।”

29 Jesus saith to him, `Because thou hast seen me, Thomas, thou hast believed; happy those not having seen, and having believed.'ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਥੋਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਤੂੰ ਜੋ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਇਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ। ਧੰਨ ਉਹ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਵੀ ਪਰਤੀਤ ਕੀਤੀ।”

30 Many indeed, therefore, other signs also did Jesus before his disciples, that are not written in this book;ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਕਿਉਂ ਲਿਖੀ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਕਈ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੇਖੇ। ਉਹ ਕਰਿਸ਼ਮੇ ਇਸ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀ ਲਿਖੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
