John 14 - BBE (Punjabi)

1 Let not your heart be troubled: have faith in God and have faith in me.ਯਿਸੂ ਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਦੇਣਾ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਦਿਲ ਨਾਂ ਘਬਰਾਏ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰੋ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਕਰੋ।

2 In my Father's house are rooms enough; if it was not so, would I have said that I am going to make ready a place for you?ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਕਮਰੇ ਹਨ। ਜੇਕਰ ਇਹ ਸੱਚ ਨਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

3 And if I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to be with me, so that you may be where I am.ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਜਗ੍ਹਾ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਦ, ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਿਸ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਲਈ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ।

4 And you all have knowledge of where I am going, and of the way to it.ਜਿੱਥੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ।”

5 Thomas said, Lord, we have no knowledge of where you are going; how may we have knowledge of the way?ਥੋਮਾ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਜੇ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕਿੱਥੇ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਰਸਤਾ ਕਿੱਥੋਂ ਜਾਣ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹਾਂ?”

6 Jesus said to him, I am the true and living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਰਸਤਾ, ਸੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਹਾਂ। ਮੇਰੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਕੋਈ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਸੱਕਦਾ।

7 If you had knowledge of me, you would have knowledge of my Father: you have knowledge of him now and have seen him.ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ। ਪਰ ਹੁਣ ਤੋਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹੋ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ।”

8 Philip said to him, Lord, let us see the Father, and we have need of nothing more.ਫਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਕਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਇਹੀ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਹੈ।”

9 Jesus said to him, Philip, have I been with you all this time, and still you have no knowledge of me? He who has seen me has seen the Father. Why do you say, Let us see the Father?ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਫਿਲਿਪੁੱਸ ਮੈਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਪਰ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ? ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਤੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਨਾ, ‘ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਵਾ?’

10 Have you not faith that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words which I say to you, I say not from myself: but the Father who is in me all the time does his works.ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ? ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੱਸ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਆ ਰਹੀਆਂ। ਪਿਤਾ ਜੋ ਮੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

11 Have faith that I am in the Father and that the Father is in me: at least, have faith in me because of what I do.ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ, ਨਹੀਂ ਤਾਂ ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਕਰਾਮਾਤਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰ।

12 Truly I say to you, He who puts his faith in me will do the very works which I do, and he will do greater things than these, because I am going to my Father.“ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਹਚਾ ਰੱਖੇਗਾ ਉਹ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਸਿਰਫ ਇਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੰਮ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।

13 And whatever request you make in my name, that I will do, so that the Father may have glory in the Son.ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗੋਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਫਿਰ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।

14 If you make any request to me in my name, I will do it.ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਮੰਗੋਗੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਹੀ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।

15 If you have love for me, you will keep my laws.ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਵਚਨ “ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰੋਗੇ।

16 And I will make prayer to the Father and he will give you another Helper to be with you for ever,ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਮੰਗਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਦੂਸਰਾ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।

17 Even the Spirit of true knowledge. That Spirit the world is not able to take to its heart because it sees him not and has no knowledge of him: but you have knowledge of him, because he is ever with you and will be in you.ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੱਚ ਦਾ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜਗਤ ਨੇ ਨਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੇਰੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

18 I will not let you be without a friend: I am coming to you.“ਮੈਂ ਤੂਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਨਾਥ ਬਾਲਕਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਇੱਕਲਾ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਵਾਪਸ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਮੁੜਾਂਗਾ।

19 A little time longer, and the world will see me no more; but you will see me; and you will be living because I am living.ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਜਲਦੀ ਇਸ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਣਗੇ ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੇਖੋਗੇ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਿਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਜਿਉਂਗੇ।

20 At that time it will be clear to you that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I in you.ਉਸ ਦਿਨ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਵੋਂਗੇ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਂ।

21 He who has my laws and keeps them, he it is who has love for me: and he who has love for me will be loved by my Father, and I will have love for him and will let myself be seen clearly by him.ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਹੁਕਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਨਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਉਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸੱਚੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ, ਮੈਂ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ-ਆਪ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ?”

22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, How is it that you will let yourself be seen clearly by us and not by the world?ਤਦ ਯਹੂਦਾ (ਇਹ ਯਹੂਦਾ ਇਸੱਕਰਿਯੋਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ) ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਣ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ ਤੇ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਰਸ਼ਾਉਂਦਾ?”

23 Jesus said to him in answer, If anyone has love for me, he will keep my words: and he will be dear to my Father; and we will come to him and make our living-place with him.ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜੇਕਰ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਉਸ ਕੋਲ ਆਵਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਰਹਾਂਗੇ।

24 He who has no love for me does not keep my words; and the word which you are hearing is not my word but the Father's who sent me.ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਦਾ। ਜਿਹੜੇ ਉਪਦੇਸ਼ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ ਸਗੋਂ ਇਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਹੈ।

25 I have said all this to you while I am still with you.“ਇਹ ਸੱਭ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਦੱਸ ਚੁੱਕਾਂ ਹਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ।

26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will be your teacher in all things and will put you in mind of everything I have said to you.ਪਰ ਸਹਾਇਕ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਆਤਮਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਤਾ, ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖਾਵੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਸਭ ਚੇਤੇ ਕਰਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

27 May peace be with you; my peace I give to you: I give it not as the world gives. Let not your heart be troubled; let it be without fear.“ਮੈਂ ਤੂਹਾਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦਿਲ ਦੁੱਖੀ ਅਤੇ ਘਬਰਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ।

28 Keep in mind how I said to you, I go away and come to you again. If you had love for me you would be glad, because I am going to the Father: for the Father is greater than I.ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ, ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, ‘ਮੈਂ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਕੋਲ ਫਿਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵਾਂਗਾ।’ ਜੇਕਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦਿਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਕੋਲ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿਉਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ।

29 And now I have given you word of it before it comes, so that, when it comes, you may have faith.ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਹ ਵਾਪਰੇ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਕਰੋ।

30 After this I will not say much to you, because the ruler of this world comes: and he has no power over me;“ਮੈਂ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੱਕ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਬੋਲਾਂਗਾ। ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹਾਕਮ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਖਤਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।

31 But he comes so that the world may see that I have love for the Father, and that I am doing as I am ordered by the Father. Get up, and let us go.ਪਰ ਜਗਤ ਨੂੰ ਪਤਾ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਉਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। “ਉੱਠੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਹੁਣ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਚੱਲੀਏ।”
