Job 36
1 ਅਲੀਹੂ ਨੇ ਗੱਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ:
2 “ਮੇਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਥੋੜਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਰ ਧੀਰਜ ਰੱਖੋ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਲ ਅਜੇ ਕੁਝ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਅਖਵਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
3 ਮੈਂ ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡਿਓ ਆਪਣੇ ਗਿਆਨ ਨੂੰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਜਿਆ ਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਸਾਬਤ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨਿਆਂਈ ਹੈ।
4 ਅੱਯੂਬ ਮੈਂ ਸੱਚ ਆਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਕਿਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ।
5 “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਪਰ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਫ਼ਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ।
6 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਉਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਗਰੀਬ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਨਿਆਂਈ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਹ ਨੇਕ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਕਮ ਬਣਨ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਆਦਰ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
8 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਜੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਗਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਰੱਸਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
9 ਅਤੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਾਪ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਗੁਮਾਨੀ ਸਨ।
10 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਸੁਣਨ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਪ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
11 ਜੇਕਰ ਲੋਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਨ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਸਫਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਖੁਸ਼ਹਾਲ ਜੀਵਨ ਬਿਤਾਉਣਗੇ।
12 ਪਰ ਜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਨਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ, ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਸ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਮੂਰੱਖਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
13 “ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ, ਸਦਾ ਕੌੜੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ। ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ।
14 ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਮਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਉਹ ਮਰਦ ਵੇਸਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਜਵਾਨ ਹੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।
15 ਪਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇੱਕ ਨਿਮਾਣੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਿੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਬੰਦੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਣ ਲਈ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
16 “ਅੱਯੂਬ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਜੀਵਨ ਅਸਾਨ ਬਨਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਦਸਤਰ ਖਾਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੋਖਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਰੱਖਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
17 ਪਰ ਹੁਣ, ਅੱਯੂਬ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਟ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮੇ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੇਰਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੁਕੱਦਮੇ ਹੀ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਉਣਾ ਜਾਰੀ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹਨ।
18 ਅੱਯੂਬ ਆਪਣੀ ਅਮੀਰੀ ਕਾਰਣ ਮੂਰਖ ਨਾ ਬਣ। ਦੌਲਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਮਨ ਨਾ ਬਦਲਣ ਦੇ।
19 ਤੇਰੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਹੁਣ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੀ। ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੀ ਕੋਈ ਮਦਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ।
20 ਰਾਤ ਪੈਣ ਦੀ ਤਮੰਨਾ ਨਾ ਕਰ। ਲੋਕੀ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਹਨੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੰਮ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰਦੇ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਲੁਕ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਨੇ।
21 ਅੱਯੂਬ, ਤੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁੱਖ ਝਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਬਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਚੁਣ। ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰ ਰਹਿ, ਕੁਝ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ।
22 “ਦੇਖ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਬਣਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਸਾਰਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਡਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ।
23 ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੀ ਕਰੇ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ, ‘ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗ਼ਲਤ ਹੈ।’
24 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨੀ ਚੇਤੇ ਰੱਖੋ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਗੀਤ ਲਿਖੇ ਨੇ।
25 ਹਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਕੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਦੂਰ-ਦੁਰਾਡੇ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਖ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਨੇ।
26 ਹਾਂ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਮਹਾਨ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਾਨਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਅਸੀਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕਿੰਨਾ ਲੰਮਾ ਚਿਰ ਜੀਵਿਆ ਹੈ।
27 “ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਧੁੰਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
28 ਇਸ ਲਈ ਬੱਦਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਰ੍ਹਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਡਿੱਗਦੀ ਹੈ।
29 ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਮਝ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਫੈਲਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਾਂ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਰਜਦੀ ਹੈ।
30 ਦੇਖੋ, ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਫ਼ੈਲਾਈ, ਅਤੇ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦਾ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਡੂੰਘਾ ਭਾਗ ਢੱਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
31 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਬੂ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਖਾ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
32 ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬਿਜਲੀ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੜ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਨਚਾਹੀ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਡਿੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
33 ਬਿਜਲੀ ਚਿਤਾਵਨੀ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਤੂਫਾਨ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ, ਪਸ਼ੂ ਵੀ ਜਾਣ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,
2 Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.
3 I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.
4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.
5 Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.
6 He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.
7 He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.
8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;
9 Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.
10 He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.
11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.
14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.
15 He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.
16 Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.
17 But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.
18 Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.
19 Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.
20 Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.
21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.
22 Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?
23 Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?
24 Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.
25 Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.
26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.
27 For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:
28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.
29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?
30 Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.
31 For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.
32 With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.
33 The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

A Psalm of Asaph.
1 सचमुच इस्त्राएल के लिये अर्थात शुद्ध मन वालों के लिये परमेश्वर भला है।
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
2 मेरे डग तो उखड़ना चाहते थे, मेरे डग फिसलने ही पर थे।
But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
3 क्योंकि जब मैं दुष्टों का कुशल देखता था, तब उन घमण्डियों के विषय डाह करता था॥
For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
4 क्योंकि उनकी मृत्यु में वेदनाएं नहीं होतीं, परन्तु उनका बल अटूट रहता है।
For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
5 उन को दूसरे मनुष्यों की नाईं कष्ट नहीं होता; और और मनुष्यों के समान उन पर विपत्ति नहीं पड़ती।
They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
6 इस कारण अहंकार उनके गले का हार बना है; उनका ओढ़ना उपद्रव है।
Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.
7 उनकी आंखें चर्बी से झलकती हैं, उनके मन की भवनाएं उमण्डती हैं।
Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
8 वे ठट्ठा मारते हैं, और दुष्टता से अन्धेर की बात बोलते हैं;
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.
9 वे डींग मारते हैं। वे मानों स्वर्ग में बैठे हुए बोलते हैं, और वे पृथ्वी में बोलते फिरते हैं॥
They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.
10 तौभी उसकी प्रजा इधर लौट आएगी, और उन को भरे हुए प्याले का जल मिलेगा।
Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
11 फिर वे कहते हैं, ईश्वर कैसे जानता है? क्या परमप्रधान को कुछ ज्ञान है?
And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
12 देखो, ये तो दुष्ट लोग हैं; तौभी सदा सुभागी रहकर, धन सम्पत्ति बटोरते रहते हैं।
Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
13 निश्चय, मैं ने अपने हृदय को व्यर्थ शुद्ध किया और अपने हाथों को निर्दोषता में धोया है;
Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.
14 क्योंकि मैं दिन भर मार खाता आया हूं और प्रति भोर को मेरी ताड़ना होती आई है॥
For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
15 यदि मैं ने कहा होता कि मैं ऐसा ही कहूंगा, तो देख मैं तेरे लड़कों की सन्तान के साथ क्रूरता का व्यवहार करता,
If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.
16 जब मैं सोचने लगा कि इसे मैं कैसे समझूं, तो यह मेरी दृष्टि में अति कठिन समस्या थी,
When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
17 जब तक कि मैं ने ईश्वर के पवित्र स्थान में जाकर उन लोगों के परिणाम को न सोचा।
Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
18 निश्चय तू उन्हें फिसलने वाले स्थानों में रखता है; और गिराकर सत्यानाश कर देता है।
Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
19 अहा, वे क्षण भर में कैसे उजड़ गए हैं! वे मिट गए, वे घबराते घबराते नाश हो गए हैं।
How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
20 जैसे जागने हारा स्वप्न को तुच्छ जानता है, वैसे ही हे प्रभु जब तू उठेगा, तब उन को छाया सा समझ कर तुच्छ जानेगा॥
As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.
21 मेरा मन तो चिड़चिड़ा हो गया, मेरा अन्त:करण छिद गया था,
Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
22 मैं तो पशु सरीखा था, और समझता न था, मैं तेरे संग रह कर भी, पशु बन गया था।
So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.
23 तौभी मैं निरन्तर तेरे संग ही था; तू ने मेरे दाहिने हाथ को पकड़ रखा।
Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.
24 तू सम्मति देता हुआ, मेरी अगुवाई करेगा, और तब मेरी महिमा करके मुझ को अपने पास रखेगा।
Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.
25 स्वर्ग में मेरा और कौन है? तेरे संग रहते हुए मैं पृथ्वी पर और कुछ नहीं चाहता।
Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.
26 मेरे हृदय और मन दोनों तो हार गए हैं, परन्तु परमेश्वर सर्वदा के लिये मेरा भाग और मेरे हृदय की चट्टान बना है॥
My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 जो तुझ से दूर रहते हैं वे तो नाश होंगे; जो कोई तेरे विरुद्ध व्यभिचार करता है, उसको तू विनाश करता है।
For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
28 परन्तु परमेश्वर के समीप रहना, यही मेरे लिये भला है; मैं ने प्रभु यहोवा को अपना शरणस्थान माना है, जिस से मैं तेरे सब कामों का वर्णन करूं॥
But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
