Job 21 - YLT (Punjabi)

1 And Job answereth and saith: --ਅੱਯੂਬ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਬ ਫੇਰ ਅੱਯੂਬ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ:

2 Hear ye diligently my word, And this is your consolation.“ਜੋ ਮੈਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਸੁਣੋ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਇਹ ਰਾਹ ਰਹਿਣ ਦਿਓ।

3 Bear with me, and I speak, And after my speaking -- ye may deride.ਮੇਰੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਧੀਰਜ ਰੱਖੋ। ਫੇਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਬੋਲ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਭ੍ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਜ਼ਾਕ ਉਡਾ ਲੈਣਾ।

4 I -- to man `is' my complaint? and if `so', wherefore May not my temper become short?“ਮੈਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਰਿੁੱਸ਼ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ, ਕੀ ਮੈਂ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹਾਂ? ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਸਬਰਾ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਵਾਂ?

5 Turn unto me, and be astonished, And put hand to mouth.ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਤੱਕੋ ਤੇ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋਵੋ। ਆਪਣੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੇ ਹੱਥ ਰੱਖੋ ਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲ ਹੈਰਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਝਾਕੋ।

6 Yea, if I have remembered, then I have been troubled. And my flesh hath taken fright.ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਸੋਚਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਕੀ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੈਂ ਡਰ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਕੰਬਦਾ ਹੈ।

7 Wherefore do the wicked live? They have become old, Yea, they have been mighty in wealth.ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਲੰਮਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਿਉਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ? ਉਹ ਕਿਉਂ ਬਿਰਧ ਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ?

8 Their seed is established, Before their face with them, And their offspring before their eyes.ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਧਦਿਆਂ ਫ਼ੁਲਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਦੇ ਨੇ। ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੋਤਰਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਣ ਲਈ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ।

9 Their houses `are' peace without fear, Nor `is' a rod of God upon them.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਭੈਭੀਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੋਈ ਲਾਠੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਰਤਦਾ।

10 His bullock hath eaten corn, and doth not loath. His cow bringeth forth safely, And doth not miscarry.ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਲਦ ਕਦੇ ਮੇਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਖੁਂਝਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤੇ ਵੱਛੇ ਜਨਮ ਸਮੇਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰਦੇ।

11 They send forth as a flock their sucklings, And their children skip,ਬਦ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਖੇਡਣ ਲਈ ਬਾਹਰ ਭੇਜਦੇ ਨੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਇੱਧਰ-ਓਧਰ ਨੱਚਦੇ ਫ਼ਿਰਦੇ ਨੇ।

12 They lift `themselves' up at timbrel and harp, And rejoice at the sound of an organ.ਉਹ ਤੰਬੂਰੀਆਂ, ਰਬਾਬਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਿਤਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਨੱਚਦੇ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਨੇ।

13 They wear out in good their days, And in a moment `to' Sheol go down.ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀਆਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਮਾਣਦੇ ਨੇ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ।

14 And they say to God, `Turn aside from us, And the knowledge of Thy ways We have not desired.ਪਰ ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ, ‘ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕਲਿਆਂ ਛੱਡ ਦਿਉ! ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਸਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਕਰੀਏ!’

15 What `is' the Mighty One that we serve Him? And what do we profit when we meet with Him?'ਤੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ? ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਲਾਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ!

16 Lo, not in their hand `is' their good, (The counsel of the wicked Hath been far from me.)“ਕੀ ਬਦ ਲੋਕ ਖੁਦ ਹੀ ਕਾਮਯਾਬੀ ਹਾਸਿਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ? ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਸ਼ਵਰੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

17 How oft is the lamp of the wicked extinguished, And come on them doth their calamity? Pangs He apportioneth in His anger.ਪਰ, ਕਿੰਨੀ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੌਸ਼ਨੀ ਬੁਝਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ? ਕਿੰਨੀ ਕੁ ਵਾਰੀ ਬਦ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਕਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ?

18 They are as straw before wind, And as chaff a hurricane hath stolen away,ਕੀ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਉਡਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਹਵਾ ਤਿਨਕੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੇਜ਼ ਹਵਾ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀ ਤੂੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਡਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

19 God layeth up for his sons his sorrow, He giveth recompense unto him -- and he knoweth.ਪਰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖਦੇ ਹੋ ‘ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇੱਕ ਬੱਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਦਲੇ ਦੰਡ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ!’ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਡ ਦੇਣ ਦਿਓ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਬੁਰਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਾਣ ਲਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਦੰਡ ਮਿਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।

20 His own eyes see his destruction, And of the wrath of the Mighty he drinketh.ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਖਣ ਦਿਉ। ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਰਬ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਉ।

21 For what `is' his delight in his house after him, And the number of his months cut off?ਜਦੋਂ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਛੱਡ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

22 To God doth `one' teach knowledge, And He the high doth judge?“ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਆਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖਾ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਉੱਚੇ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।

23 This `one' dieth in his perfect strength, Wholly at ease and quiet.ਇੱਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਮਯਾਬ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਾਮਦਾਇੱਕ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀਵੀ।

24 His breasts have been full of milk, And marrow his bones doth moisten.ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਹੁਤ ਭੋਜਨ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੱਡੀਆਂ ਹਾਲੇ ਵੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਸਨ।

25 And this `one' dieth with a bitter soul, And have not eaten with gladness.ਪਰ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਖਤ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਮਗਰੋਂ ਕੁੜਤ੍ਤਨ ਭਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਨਾਲ ਮਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਸ਼ੈਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਾਣੀ।

26 Together -- on the dust they lie down, And the worm doth cover them over.ਅੰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਬੰਦੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੀ ਖਾਕ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੇਟ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਕੀੜੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਣਗੇ।

27 Lo, I have known your thoughts, And the devices against me ye do wrongfully.“ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੀ ਸੋਚ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ, ਮੈਂ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦੁੱਖ ਪੁਹਂਚਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਹੋ।

28 For ye say, `Where `is' the house of the noble? And where the tent -- The tabernacles of the wicked?'ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਖੋ: ‘ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇਕ ਆਦਮੀ ਦਾ ਘਰ ਦਿਖਾ। ਹੁਣ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਦਿਖਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ।’

29 Have ye not asked those passing by the way? And their signs do ye not know?“ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ ਤੂੰ ਰਾਹੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹੋਣੀਆਂ। ਅਵੱਸ਼ ਹੀ, ਤੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਕਬੂਲ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ।

30 That to a day of calamity is the wicked spared. To a day of wrath they are brought.ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਬਿਪਤਾ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਬਚ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਨੇ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣਾ ਕਹਿਰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

31 Who doth declare to his face his way? And `for' that which he hath done, Who doth give recompence to him?ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੁਰੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਦੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੰਦੇ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਲਈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਅਲੋਚਨਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਬਦੀ ਲਈ ਦੰਡ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿੰਦਾ।

32 And he -- to the graves he is brought. And over the heap a watch is kept.ਜਦੋਂ ਉਸ ਆਦਮੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਵੱਲ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਪਹਿਰੇਦਾਰ ਉਸਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

33 Sweet to him have been the clods of the valley, And after him every man he draweth, And before him there is no numbering.ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਬੁਰੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਲਈ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਵੀ ਖੁਸ਼ਗਵਾਰ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਜਨਾਜ਼ੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਲੋਕੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੋਣਗੇ।

34 And how do ye comfort me `with' vanity, And in your answers hath been left trespass?“ਇਸ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਰਾਹਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਜ਼ਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ।”
