Jeremiah 51:30
ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਲੜਨ ਤੋਂ ਰੁਕ ਗਏ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਲਿਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਠਹਿਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਨੇ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਚਲੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਡਰੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਬਣ ਗਏ ਨੇ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਸੜ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਲਾਖਾਂ ਟੁੱਟੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਹਨ।

ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਕਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਚੁਣੇ ਹੋਏ ਰਾਜੇ, ਖੋਰੁਸ, ਬਾਰੇ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ। “ਮੈਂ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਦਾ ਸੱਜਾ ਹੱਥ ਫ਼ੜਾਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਖੋਹਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਖੋਰੁਸ ਅੰਦਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
Psalm 76:5

Revelation 18:10
