Jeremiah 37:10
ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕੋ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਉਸ ਸਾਰੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਚੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਕੁਝ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਬੰਦੇ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੰਬੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਨਿਕਲ ਆਉਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਾੜ ਸੁੱਟਣਗੇ।’”

Leviticus 26:36
ਬਚੇ ਹੋਏ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਆਤਮ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਸ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਹਰ ਚੀਜ਼ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਨਗੇ। ਹਵਾ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਉਡਾਏ ਹੋਏ ਪੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਅਵਾਜ਼ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਰਾ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਭੱਜਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਡਿੱਗ ਪੈਣਗੇ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਪਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਭਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਸ਼ਕਰ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦੀ ਪੁਕਾਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸਦਾ ਡਿਹਰਾ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਲਸ਼ਕਰ ਬੜੀ ਬਲਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਹੁਕਮ ’ਚ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਖਾਸ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਗੋਂ ਬੜਾ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਅੰਕਰ ਦਿਵਸ ਹੈ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਸਹਾਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
Jeremiah 51:4
ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੌਜੀ ਕਸਦੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਉਹ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋਣਗੇ।”

ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ ਜੋ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ ਜਿਸਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। “ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ (ਲੋਕਾਂ) ਦੇ ਲੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਧੂਹ ਕੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਾਂਦਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਮਲਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਜਾੜ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।
Jeremiah 49:20
ਉਸ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੁਣੋ, ਜਿਸਦੀ ਵਿਉਂਤ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਸੁਣੋ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੇਮਾਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੀ ਨਿਆਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਇੱਜੜ (ਲੋਕਾਂ) ਦੇ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘਸੀਟੇਗਾ, ਅਦੋਮ ਦੀਆਂ ਚਰਾਂਦਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਕਾਰਿਆਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਸੱਖਣੀਆਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।
Jeremiah 37:8
ਉਸਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਇੱਥੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆਵੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਹਮਲਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾੜ ਦੇਵੇਗੀ।’

‘ਇਹੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੜਾਈ ਦੇ ਹਬਿਆਰ ਨੇ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਬਿਆਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਇਸਤੇਮਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਬਿਆਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਕਾਰਾ ਕਰ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। “‘ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਸੀਲ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਹੈ। ਛੇਤੀ ਹੀ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਫ਼ੌਜ ਨੂੰ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਲਿਆਵਾਂਗਾ।
Isaiah 14:19
ਪਰ ਤੂੰ, ਹੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਰਾਜੇ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੀ ਕਬਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕੱਢ ਸੁੱਟਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਰੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਕੱਟੀ ਹੋਈ ਟਾਹਣੀ ਵਾਂਗਰਾਂ ਹੈਂ। ਉਸ ਟਾਹਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਸੁੱਟ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਲਾਸ਼ ਵਾਂਗ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਲੜਾਈ ਅੰਦਰ ਡਿੱਗੀ ਸੀ, ਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਫ਼ੌਜੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਦਰੜ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ, ਤੂੰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮੁਰਦਾ ਬੰਦਿਆਂ ਵਰਗਾ ਲੱਗਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਤੂੰ ਕਫ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਪਟਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈਂ।
Isaiah 13:15
ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਫੜਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣ ਉਸ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਸੇ ਦੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਾਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
Isaiah 10:4
ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਦੀ ਵਾਂਗ ਝੁਕਣਾ ਪਵੇਗਾ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇੱਕ ਮਰੇ ਹੋਏ ਬੰਦੇ ਵਾਂਗ ਡਿੱਗ ਪਵੋਗੇ। ਪਰ ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੀ ਕੋਈ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ! ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਨਾਰਾਜ਼ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਣ ਲਈ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।
