ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਲਈ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੋ! ਇਸਰਾਏਲ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਕੌਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਹਰੇ ਮਾਰੋ! ਉਸਤਤ ਗਾਵੋ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਹਰੇ ਮਾਰੋ: ‘ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ! ਉਸ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹੜੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਰਹਿ ਗਏ ਨੇ।’
