ਝੂਠਾ ਨਬੀ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਸਨ ਦੇ ਚੌਬੇ ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪੰਜਵੇਂ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ, ਗਿਬਓਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਬੀ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜਾਜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਾਜਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ,

ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਦੇ ਬਿਨਯਾਮੀਨ ਦਰਵਾਜ਼ੇ ਤੇ ਅਪੜਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਗਾਰਦ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ। ਕਪਤਾਨ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਿਰੀਯਾਹ ਸੀ। ਯਿਰੀਯਾਹ ਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਸ਼ਲਮਯਾਹ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਯਿਰੀਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਤੂੰ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਰਲਣ ਲਈ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈਂ।”

Jeremiah 36:12
ਜਦੋਂ ਮੀਕਾਯਾਹ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੱਕੱਤਰ ਦੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਓੱਥੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਇਹ ਹਨ: ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾਮਾ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ, ਸੱਕੱਤਰ, ਸ਼ਮਅਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦਲਾਯਾਹ, ਅਕਬੋਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲ-ਨਾਥਾਨ, ਸ਼ਾਫ਼ਾਨ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗਮਰਯਾਹ, ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਵੀ ਓੱਥੇ ਸਨ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਉੱਚੀ ਆਵਾਜ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣ ਸੱਕਣ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: ‘ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨਬੂਕਦਨੱਸਰ ਦਾ ਜੂਲਾ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਜੂਲਾ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਨਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੋ ਸਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ-ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਹ ਜੂਲਾ ਤੋੜ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।’” ਹਨਨਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਇਹ ਆਖਣ ਤੋਂ ਮਗਰੋਂ, ਯਿਰਮਿਯਾਹ ਮੰਦਰ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

Jeremiah 27:12
ਮੈਂ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਹੀ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਗਰਦਨ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਜੂਲੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਪਾ ਦੇਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਮੰਨਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ, ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਜੀਵੇਗਾ।

Jeremiah 27:3
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਹਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਦੋਮ, ਮੋਆਬ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਮੋਨ, ਸੂਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਦਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੱਲ ਦੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਸਿਦਕੀਯਾਹ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਆਏ ਨੇ, ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ਵਾਹਕਾਂ ਹੱਥ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਭੇਜ।

Jeremiah 23:28
ਤੂੜੀ ਕਣਕ ਵਰਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ! ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਬੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਬੰਦਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਸੁਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿਓ। ਪਰ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਚਾਈ ਨਾਲ ਮੇਰਾ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਸੁਣਾਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

Isaiah 9:15
ਸਿਰ ਦਾ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਆਗੂ। ਪੂਛ ਦਾ ਅਰਬ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਨਬੀ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਝੂਠ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ।
