Jeremiah 25:11
ਉਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਇਲਾਕਾ ਸਖਣਾ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕ 70 ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੀਕ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣੇ ਰਹਿਣਗੇ।

Isaiah 23:15
ਲੋਕੀ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ 70 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਸੂਰ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ। (ਇਹ ਤਕਰੀਬਨ ਕਿਸੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ।) ਸੱਤਰ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਬਾਦ ਸੂਰ ਇਸ ਗੀਤ ਵਿੱਚਲੀ ਵੇਸਵਾ ਵਰਗਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ:

ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ: “ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤਬਾਹ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਬਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ।
Jeremiah 12:11
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਖੇਤ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਸੁੱਕ ਸੜ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਓੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ। ਸਾਰਾ ਦੇਸ਼ ਹੀ ਸੱਖਣਾ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ-ਭਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਚਿਆ।
Jeremiah 25:12
“ਪਰ ਜਦੋਂ 70 ਵਰ੍ਹੇ ਬੀਤ ਜਾਣਗੇ, ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਦੀ ਕੌਮ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।” ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਹੈ-“ਮੈਂ ਬਾਬਲ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਾਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਲਈ ਮਾਰੂਬਲ ਬਣਾ ਦਿਆਂਗਾ।
Zechariah 1:12
ਤਦ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੇ ਦੂਤ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਯਹੋਵਾਹ! ਤੂੰ ਕਦੋਂ ਯਰੂਸ਼ਲਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰੇਂਗਾ? ਸੱਤਰ ਸਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਰੋਪੀ ਵਿਖਾਉਂਦਿਆਂ।”
