Isaiah 59:16
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲ ਸੱਕਿਆ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਖਲੋ ਸੱਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਬੋਲ ਸੱਕੇ। ਇਸ ਲਈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਨੇਕੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ।

| intercessor: | מַפְגִּ֑יעַ | mapgîaʿ | mahf-ɡEE-ah |
| therefore his arm | וַתּ֤וֹשַֽׁע | wattôšaʿ | VA-toh-sha |
| brought salvation | לוֹ֙ | lô | loh |
| righteousness, his and him; unto | זְרֹע֔וֹ | zĕrōʿô | zeh-roh-OH |
| it | וְצִדְקָת֖וֹ | wĕṣidqātô | veh-tseed-ka-TOH |
| sustained | הִ֥יא | hîʾ | hee |
| him. | סְמָכָֽתְהוּ׃ | sĕmākātĕhû | seh-ma-HA-teh-hoo |
