Isaiah 44:6
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸਰਬ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਮਾਨ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹਾਂ। ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਆਦਿ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤ ਹਾਂ।

| I | אֲנִ֤י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| am the first, | רִאשׁוֹן֙ | riʾšôn | ree-SHONE |
| and I | וַאֲנִ֣י | waʾănî | va-uh-NEE |
| last; the am | אַחֲר֔וֹן | ʾaḥărôn | ah-huh-RONE |
| and beside | וּמִבַּלְעָדַ֖י | ûmibbalʿāday | oo-mee-bahl-ah-DAI |
| me there is no | אֵ֥ין | ʾên | ane |
