Isaiah 10:13
ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ ਦਾ ਰਾਜਾ ਆਖਦਾ ਹੈ, “ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਿਆਣਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਸਿਆਣਪ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹਾਨ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੌਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਦੌਲਤ ਲੁੱਟ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਬਣਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸ਼ਕਤੀਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਬੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

| removed have I and | וְאָסִ֣יר׀ | wĕʾāsîr | veh-ah-SEER |
| the bounds | גְּבוּלֹ֣ת | gĕbûlōt | ɡeh-voo-LOTE |
| people, the of | עַמִּ֗ים | ʿammîm | ah-MEEM |
| and have robbed | וַעֲתֽיּדֹתֵיהֶם֙ | waʿătyydōtêhem | va-ut-ydoh-tay-HEM |
| treasures, their | שׁוֹשֵׂ֔תִי | šôśētî | shoh-SAY-tee |
| and I have put down | וְאוֹרִ֥יד | wĕʾôrîd | veh-oh-REED |
| inhabitants the | כַּאבִּ֖יר | kaʾbîr | ka-BEER |
| like a valiant | יוֹשְׁבִֽים׃ | yôšĕbîm | yoh-sheh-VEEM |
