Genesis 49
5 ਸਿਮਓਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ “ਸਿਮਓਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਵੀ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਭਰਾ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਤਲਵਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਲੜਨਾ ਪਸੰਦ ਹੈ।
6 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਵੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਇਆ ਸੀ।
7 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਸਰਾਪ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਹ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
5 Simeon and Levi are brethren; instruments of cruelty are in their habitations.
6 O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.
7 Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

6 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਗੁਪਤ ਯੋਜਨਾਵਾਂ ਬਣਾਈਆਂ। ਮੇਰੀ ਰੂਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੈਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੁਪਤ ਸਭਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਾਂਗਾ। ਜਦੋਂ ਉਹ ਕਰੋਧਵਾਨ ਸਨ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਮਾਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਵੇ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਨਵਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਾਇਆ ਸੀ।

7 ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਸਰਾਪ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਾਲਮ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਹ ਚੜ੍ਹਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਅੰਦਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ। ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਅੰਦਰ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
