Genesis 49:29
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਦੋਂ ਮੈਂ ਮਰ ਜਾਵਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਦੇ ਖੇਤ ਦੀ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ।

ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰੀਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਕ ਕੇ ਕਨਾਨ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਕਫ਼ੇਲਾਹ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮਮਰੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਖੇਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਹਿੱਤੀ ਅਫ਼ਰੋਨ ਤੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਸੀ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਗੁਫ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਰਸਤਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਖਰੀਦਿਆ ਸੀ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਉਸਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਲੰਮੀ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਜੀਵੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਏਸਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਾਲੀ ਥਾਵੇਂ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਪਰ ਮਿਹਰਬਾਨੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਘਰ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਤਨ ਦੇਵੀਂ। ਤਦ ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਸੱਕਾਂਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਵਾਂਗਾ। ਪਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਕਿਮਹਾਮ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਹਾਰਾਜ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਵੇ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਚੰਗਾ ਲੱਗੇ ਤੂੰ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਕਰੀਂ।”

ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਨਮੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਹੋ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਸਵਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਵੱਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਆਂ ਪਾਲਕ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਚੰਗੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਤਮਿਆਂ ਕੋਲ ਆਏ ਹੋ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਪੂਰਣ ਬਣਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
