“ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਨਾਲੋਂ, ਇੱਕ ਭਾਗ ਵੱਧ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਪਰਬਤ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮੈਂ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਧਨੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਆ ਸੀ। ਮੈਂ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇ ਉਸ ਭਾਗ ਲਈ ਲੜਨ ਦੀ ਖਾਤਰ ਆਪਣੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਨੁਖ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਜਿੱਤ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ।”

ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਛੱਡਿਆ, ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਵਿਖੇ ਦਫ਼ਨਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਸਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਫ਼ਨਾਇਆ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਹਮੋਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸ਼ਕਮ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਬੰਦੇ ਦਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਸੀ। ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਚਾਂਦੀ ਦੇ 100 ਸਿੱਕਿਆਂ ਬਦਲੇ ਖਰੀਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਦੀ ਸੰਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਮਾਲਕੀ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਸੀ।
Amos 2:9
“ਪਰ ਇਹ ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਗਿਓ ਬਰਬਾਦ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕਿ ਦਿਆਰ ਦੇ ਦ੍ਰੱਖਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਲੰਬੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਲੂਤ ਦੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਵਰਗੇ ਤਕੜੇ। ਪਰ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੇਠਲੀਆਂ ਜੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਸ ਕੀਤਾ।
Ezekiel 47:13

Judges 11:23
“ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਅਤੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸੋਚਦੇ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਛੱਡਣ ਲਈ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਰ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ?

Deuteronomy 21:17

Genesis 15:16
ਚਾਰ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਬਾਦ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਇਸ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਆਉਣਗੇ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ, ਤੇਰੇ ਲੋਕ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾ ਦੇਣਗੇ। ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਮੋਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ। ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਅਮੋਰੀ ਲੋਕ ਹਾਲੇ ਇਨੇ ਪਾਪੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਦੇ ਭਾਗੀ ਹੋਣ।”
