ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਮਿਸਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਬਏਰਸਬਾ ਤੋਂ ਚੱਲ ਪਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਸਰ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਲੈ ਆਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ।

ਫ਼ੇਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਪਣੇ ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਕੁਝ ਵੱਧੀਆਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਦਿਉ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖੋ ਕਿ ਕਨਾਨ ਜਾਣ ਅਤੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ, ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਿਠਾਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਜਾਣ।

ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹੀ ਗੱਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਜਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਲਈ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਭੋਜਨ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਪਰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲ ਦੱਸੀ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਆਖੀ ਸੀ। ਅਤੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਉਹ ਗੱਡੀਆਂ ਵੀ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਬਹੁਤ ਉੱਤੇਜਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ। ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ।

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਫ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪਤਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਊਠਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਬਿਠਾਇਆ।

ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਜਾਓ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਜਾ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਹੋ। ਪਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਇੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਛੱਡਣੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ।”

ਖ਼ਰੋਜ 10:26
ਹਾਂ, ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਸ਼ੂ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ। ਕੋਈ ਖੁਰ ਵੀ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਹਾਲੇ ਤੱਕ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਪੱਕਾ ਪਤਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਕੁਝ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸਦਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਉਦੋਂ ਹੀ ਪਤਾ ਚੱਲੇਗਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਉੱਥੇ ਜਾਵਾਂਗੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਚੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਲਿਜਾਣੀਆਂ ਪੈਣਗੀਆਂ।”
