Genesis 41
14 ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਸੱਦਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਸੱਦ ਲਿਆ। ਗਾਰਦਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕੈਦਖਾਨੇ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਆਂਦਾ। ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਸਿਰ ਮੁਨਾਇਆ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਝ ਸਾਫ਼ ਕੱਪੜੇ ਪਹਿਨ ਲਈ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਣ ਲਈ ਚੱਲਾ ਗਿਆ।
15 ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਮੈਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਸੁਪਨਾ ਸੁਣਾਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੂੰ ਉਸਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ ਹੈ।”
16 ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਮਝਾ ਸੱਕੇ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ।”
17 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹਾਂ।
18 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਸੱਤ ਗਊਆਂ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਖਲੋਕੇ ਘਾਹ ਖਾਣ ਲੱਗੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਨਖੀਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਸਨ।
19 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਹੋਰ ਗਊਆਂ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਗਊਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨਖਿਧ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ!
20 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ।
21 ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਦਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਓਨੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਗ ਆ ਗਈ।
22 “ਆਪਣੇ ਅਗਲੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਇੱਕ ਪੌਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਉੱਗਦੀਆਂ ਦੇਖੀਆਂ। ਉਹ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਾਜ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਨ।
23 ਅਤੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੱਤ ਹੋਰ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਉੱਗ ਪਈਆਂ। ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਲੂ ਨਾਲ ਝੁਲਸੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਸਨ।
24 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਲੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ। “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ?”
14 Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh.
15 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
17 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, In my dream, behold, I stood upon the bank of the river:
18 And, behold, there came up out of the river seven kine, fatfleshed and well favoured; and they fed in a meadow:
19 And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
20 And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
21 And when they had eaten them up, it could not be known that they had eaten them; but they were still ill favoured, as at the beginning. So I awoke.
22 And I saw in my dream, and, behold, seven ears came up in one stalk, full and good:
23 And, behold, seven ears, withered, thin, and blasted with the east wind, sprung up after them:
24 And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I have dreamed a dream, and there is none that can interpret it: and I have heard say of thee, that thou canst understand a dream to interpret it.
16 ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਪਰ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਮਝਾ ਸੱਕੇ, ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ।”
And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
17 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਯੂਸੁਫ਼ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਨੀਲ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਖਲੋਤਾ ਹਾਂ।

19 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਿੱਛੋਂ ਸੱਤ ਹੋਰ ਗਊਆਂ ਨਦੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਨਿਕਲੀਆਂ। ਪਰ ਇਹ ਗਊਆਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਨਖਿਧ ਸਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਸਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਹੈ!
And, behold, seven other kine came up after them, poor and very ill favoured and leanfleshed, such as I never saw in all the land of Egypt for badness:
20 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੀਆਂ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ।
And the lean and the ill favoured kine did eat up the first seven fat kine:
21 ਪਰ ਉਹ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਵੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਦਿਸਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ। ਤੁਸੀਂ ਇਹ ਆਖ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦੇ ਕਿ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਨਰੋਈਆਂ ਗਊਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਓਨੀਆਂ ਹੀ ਕਮਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਿਮਾਰ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ ਸਨ ਜਿੰਨੀਆਂ ਉਹ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਨ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਗ ਆ ਗਈ।

24 ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਨਾਜ ਦੀਆਂ ਪਤਲੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੱਤਾਂ ਚੰਗੀਆਂ ਬੱਲੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖਾ ਲਿਆ। “ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਇਹ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਜਾਦੂਗਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਣਾਏ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸੁਪਨਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਆਖਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸੱਕਿਆ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਅਰਥ ਹੈ?”
And the thin ears devoured the seven good ears: and I told this unto the magicians; but there was none that could declare it to me.
