ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੱਧਦਾ ਹੈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੇਆਹ ਦੀ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੇਆਹ ਨੂੰ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਦਿੱਤੇ। ਪਰ ਰਾਖੇਲ ਦੇ ਬੱਚੇ ਪੈਦਾ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ।
