ਲਾਬਾਨ ਦਾ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨਾਲ ਧੋਖਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਲਾਬਾਨ ਨੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਬਿਨਾ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਸਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਤੂੰ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇਦਾਰ ਹੈਂ, ਕੋਈ ਗੁਲਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ ਦੇਵਾਂ?”
