Genesis 26:22
ਇਸਹਾਕ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹਟ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਖੂਹ ਪੁੱਟਿਆ। ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਉਸ ਖੂਹ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਝਗੜਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਇਆ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਖੂਹ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਰਹੋਬੋਥ ਰੱਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੁਣ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਥਾਂ ਲੱਭ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਇਸ ਥਾਂ ਵੱਧਾ-ਫ਼ੁੱਲਾਂਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਹੋਵਾਂਗੇ।”

| well; | אַחֶ֔רֶת | ʾaḥeret | ah-HEH-ret |
| for and | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| that they strove | רָב֖וּ | rābû | ra-VOO |
| not: | עָלֶ֑יהָ | ʿālêhā | ah-LAY-ha |
| called he and | וַיִּקְרָ֤א | wayyiqrāʾ | va-yeek-RA |
| the name | שְׁמָהּ֙ | šĕmāh | sheh-MA |
| Rehoboth; it of | רְחֹב֔וֹת | rĕḥōbôt | reh-hoh-VOTE |
| and he said, | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| For | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| now | עַתָּ֞ה | ʿattâ | ah-TA |
| the Lord | הִרְחִ֧יב | hirḥîb | heer-HEEV |
| room made hath | יְהוָ֛ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| fruitful be shall we and us, for | לָ֖נוּ | lānû | LA-noo |
| in the land. | וּפָרִ֥ינוּ | ûpārînû | oo-fa-REE-noo |
| בָאָֽרֶץ׃ | bāʾāreṣ | va-AH-rets |
