ਸਵੇਰੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਉੱਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਖੋਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਠੀ ਪਾਈ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋ ਨੌਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਲ ਲੈ ਲਿਆ। ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਬਲੀ ਲਈ ਲੱਕੜ ਕੱਟੀ। ਫ਼ੇਰ ਉਹ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਚੱਲੇ ਗਏ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜਾਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ।

for the burnt offering, עֹלָ֔ה ʿōlâ oh-LA
and rose up, וַיָּ֣קָם qûm koom
and went וַיֵּ֔לֶךְ hālak ha-LAHK
unto אֶל ʾēl ale
the place הַמָּק֖וֹם māqôm ma-KOME
of which אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
had told him. אָֽמַר ʾāmar ah-MAHR
ל֥וֹ
God הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃ ʾĕlōhîm ay-loh-HEEM
