Genesis 22:13
ਫ਼ੇਰ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਭੇਡੂ ਦੇਖਿਆ। ਭੇਡੂ ਦੇ ਸਿੰਗ ਝਾੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ਸੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਭੇਡੂ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਦੀ ਬਜਾਇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਬਲੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਚੜ੍ਹਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

and offered him up וַיַּֽעֲלֵ֥הוּ ʿālâ ah-LA
for a burnt offering לְעֹלָ֖ה ʿōlâ oh-LA
in the stead of תַּ֥חַת taḥat ta-HAHT
his son. בְּנֽוֹ׃ bēn bane
