ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਲੈ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਅਕਾਸ਼ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ। ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਵੱਲ ਦੇਖ। ਇਹ ਇੰਨੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗਿਣ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੱਕਦਾ। ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਵੀ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ।”
