Genesis 13:18
ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਤੰਬੂ ਪੁੱਟ ਲਿਆ। ਉਹ ਮਮਰੇ ਦੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਰੁੱਖਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਜਾਕੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ। ਇਹ ਥਾਂ ਹਬਰੋਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਸੀ। ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ।

Genesis 12:7
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਇਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤਰਾਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਵਾਂਗਾ।” ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਬਰਾਮ ਨੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਲਈ ਜਗਵੇਦੀ ਬਣਾਈ।

ਆਦਮੀ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤਾਂ ਲਈ ਖਾਸ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਨਾ ਕਿ ਹਰ ਜਗ਼੍ਹਾ ਆਦਮੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਕਰਨ। ਲੋਕ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਰਥਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੁੱਕਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉੱਥੇ ਉਹ ਲੋਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੇ ਚਾਹੀਦੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਝਗੜਦੇ ਹਨ।
