Genesis 11:9
ਇਹੀ ਉਹ ਥਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਲ ਗਡ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਾਬਲ ਆਖਿਆਂ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਥਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਖਿੰਡਾਕੇ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਫ਼ੈਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
