ਪਰ ਫ਼ਿਰਊਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ? ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਕਿਉਂ ਮੰਨਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਉਂ ਜਾਣ ਦੇਵਾਂ? ਮੈਂ ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹੋ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਚੱਲੇ ਜਾਣ ਤੋਂ ਇਨਕਾਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।”

And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.

And Pharaoh said, Who is Jehovah, that I should hearken unto his voice to let Israel go? I know not Jehovah, and moreover I will not let Israel go.

his voice בְּקֹל֔וֹ qôl kole
go? לְשַׁלַּ֖ח šālaḥ sha-LAHK
to let אֶת ʾēt ate
Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
not לֹ֤א lōʾ loh
I know יָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ yādaʿ ya-DA
אֶת ʾēt ate
the Lord, יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
וְגַ֥ם gam ɡahm
will I let אֶת ʾēt ate
Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
