Exodus 35:1
ਸਬਤ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਬਿਧੀਆਂ ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੱਠਿਆ ਕੀਤਾ। ਮੂਸਾ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੱਸਾਂਗਾ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਨੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ:

| אֶֽת | ʾet | et | |
| all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the congregation | עֲדַ֛ת | ʿădat | uh-DAHT |
| children the of | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| of Israel | יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| and said | וַיֹּ֣אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| unto | אֲלֵהֶ֑ם | ʾălēhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| them, These | אֵ֚לֶּה | ʾēlle | A-leh |
| are the words | הַדְּבָרִ֔ים | haddĕbārîm | ha-deh-va-REEM |
| which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| Lord the | צִוָּ֥ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| hath commanded, | יְהוָ֖ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| that ye should do | לַֽעֲשֹׂ֥ת | laʿăśōt | la-uh-SOTE |
| them. | אֹתָֽם׃ | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
