Exodus 33:4
ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਬੁਰੀ ਖਬਰ ਸੁਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਬਹੁਤ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਏ। ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਗਹਿਣੇ ਪਾਉਣੇ ਛੱਡ ਦਿੱਤੇ।

| tidings, | הַזֶּ֖ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| mourned: they | וַיִּתְאַבָּ֑לוּ | wayyitʾabbālû | va-yeet-ah-BA-loo |
| and no | וְלֹא | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| man | שָׁ֛תוּ | šātû | SHA-too |
| put did | אִ֥ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| on | עֶדְי֖וֹ | ʿedyô | ed-YOH |
| him his ornaments. | עָלָֽיו׃ | ʿālāyw | ah-LAIV |
