Exodus 15:2
ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੁਕਤੀ ਹੈ। ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਉਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਇਹ ਮੇਰਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦੀ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਪੁਰਖਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਸਦਾ ਆਦਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।

| father's my | וְאַנְוֵ֔הוּ | wĕʾanwēhû | veh-an-VAY-hoo |
| God, | אֱלֹהֵ֥י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| and I will exalt | אָבִ֖י | ʾābî | ah-VEE |
