ਹਾਮਾਨ ਦੀ ਯਹੂਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਤਬਾਹ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਘਟਨਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਹਸ਼ਵੇਰੋਸ਼ ਨੇ ਹਾਮਾਨ, ਅਗਾਗੀ ਹਮਦਾਬਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਨਮਾਨਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਉਚੇਰਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
