Matthew 4:6
“ਜੇਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹੈਂ, ਤਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ-ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਡੇਗ ਦੇ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਪੋਥੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ, ‘ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੂਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਹੁਕਮ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਚੁੱਕ ਲੈਣਗੇ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਤੂੰ ਪੱਥਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੈਰ ਵੱਜਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਸੱਕੇਂ।’”

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
